Boarding the Train to the Clouds is entering an ethereal journey, where comfort and elegance accompany breathtaking landscapes. Each stretch toward the Andean heights reveals a scene of serenity and natural grandeur.
At the La Polvorilla Viaduct, over 4,200 meters above sea level, the train floats between earth and sky. A suspended moment — exclusive and sublime — the very essence of luxury in its purest form.
The journey departs from Salta city with a bus transfer to San Antonio de los Cobres, where the train is boarded. It can also start directly from that station.
The full excursion lasts all day, while the train segment takes about two hours round trip.
It is recommended to bring warm clothing, water, snacks, sunscreen, coca leaves or candies for the altitude, and a phone or camera with a good battery.
