Day 1: Arrival in San Juan
Upon arrival at San Juan airport, you’ll be transferred to your selected accommodation. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour visiting highlights such as the Juan Victoria Auditorium, the Birthplace of Sarmiento, and the Cathedral. You’ll also have the option to visit either a winery or an olive oil factory, subject to availability. The day ends with a visit to the Ullum Dam, surrounded by stunning natural landscapes.

Day 2: Valle Fértil and the Valley of the Moon
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to Valle Fértil to visit the Ischigualasto Provincial Natural Park, known as the Valley of the Moon and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This surreal landscape will amaze you with its unique rock formations—a geological wonder shaped by time. You’ll also visit the Museum of Natural Sciences to deepen your understanding of the region’s geological history. Enjoy a peaceful evening in Valle Fértil.

Day 3: Talampaya and Journey to Villa Unión
After breakfast, set off to explore Talampaya National Park, famous for its colossal rock walls and canyons. These breathtaking formations transport you to another world. After the visit, continue your journey to Villa Unión in La Rioja, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by scenic beauty.

Day 4: The Iglesianos Valleys and Cuesta del Viento Dam
Your day begins along the scenic Cuesta de Huaco toward Jáchal and Iglesia, crossing the picturesque Iglesianos Valleys. Along the way, discover charming towns such as Rodeo and Las Flores. Visit the impressive Cuesta del Viento Dam and enjoy lunch in Rodeo (drinks not included). In the afternoon, visit Finca El Martillo to experience rural life in the region.

Day 5: Calingasta Valleys and Barreal
After breakfast, travel to the Calingasta Valleys, a mountainous paradise of rugged terrain and open skies. Cross the Quebrada de la Burras to reach Barreal, a peaceful village nestled among majestic peaks. Enjoy free time to explore at your own pace and take in the area’s natural charm.

Day 6: El Leoncito and the Astronomical Observatory
Following an early breakfast, head to El Leoncito National Park to discover the Pampa El Leoncito and its remarkable landscapes. This park is known for its pristine skies, perfect for stargazing. Visit the world-renowned El Leoncito Astronomical Observatory—one of the best observation points on the planet. Later, you’ll have free time to hike or go horseback riding. Return to San Juan in the evening.

Day 7: Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll be transferred to San Juan airport or the bus terminal, marking the end of this unique journey filled with awe-inspiring landscapes, history, and nature.
